These floral works were created at the beginning of the pandemic. Voluptuous, but fading flowers combined with the bits of lace and mesh printing, metallic accents and traces of previous layers of drawing evoke the paused world of Dickens' character.  I feel that beginning in March 2020 our lives, too, were put on pause as the Corona virus kept us imprisoned in our own homes.
