All of my dishes are made from paper clay and hand painted with professional grade watercolor paints. They are improvised on the dish without any preliminary drawing. As such, every piece is unique. Gold leaf (actually 85% copper and 15% zinc to simulate 23 KT gold) is added and each piece is sealed with a satin finish. Although sealed to protect the gold leaf and painting, paper clay should not be allowed to get wet.
