
Animal Farm
Baby animals and moths are my current obsessions. Lately I've been using pastels and charcoal with my watercolors, and occasionally some acrylic paint. I've been trying out these cradled wood panels. I rather like that they can be hung, or just put on a table. This size is 4" square and I prefer the 7/8" sides for such a small piece. Mushroom Mania
Wow! It is a huge year for mushrooms! And so much variety! Mushrooms have been a favorite subject of mine for awhile and all of these new varieties has fed my enthusiasm for them. Art Walk and Music Fest, Maplewood NJ
Sunday, September 30th was a beautiful sunny day in my hometown of Maplewood. The weather was perfect for the art and music festival located on Maplewood Avenue and its side streets. This was the seventh year of the event and the first time I participated. It was really well run and I found the set up and breakdown to be easy and stress-free.
